photos by renzo capistranoA break from our yearly tradition, the hubby and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary with the family. We were supposed to hear the anticipated mass at Lipa Cathedral, but we were too late for the last mass. So, we just had a sumptuous dinner at Savory Restaurant. But before that, picture-taking muna sa facade ng Cathedral.
BRO-IN-LAW: (to nephew) Picturan mo yang simbahan. Historical yan. Di ba d'yan yung may miraculous Virgin ba yun? Yung may petals na nahuhulog.
ME: Hindi. Ibang simbahan yata yun. Pero historical pa rin yan. Dyan kinasal si Ate Vi.

Medyo unromantic yung aming celebration. But I guess we can always save the romance for another day. Happy Anniversary, Pops!
