August 20 - Expendable Expendable

Pwedeng hindi mo na panoorin kasi saksakan ng pangit.

From the story to the script to the acting... joskoday! Even the special effects and the action sequence choreography sucked. Wala yata siyang redeeming factor.

And to think super star-studded siya: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke... may cameo role pa si Gobernador Arnold Schwarzenneger!

What a waste of money! Pwede bang refund?

August 19 - Palabra de Honor

May mga kumpanyang wala nito.

We have a client who committed x amount of billings for a given period in exchange for lower agency rates. Tapos, naka-kalahating taon pa lang, biglang nagdeclare na cost-cutting sila. Syempre major ang cuts sa advertising! Ganun?!

Basta sa wari ko, ang walang palabra de honor ay sinungaling at ang sinungaling, ika nga ni Susan Roces, ay kapatid ng magnanakaw. Agree?

August 18 - Healthy OT Meal

Usually pag OT, kung anu-ano na lang ang inoorder for dinner. Madalas either Tapa King lang or Binalot.

Lately though, with my aging officemates getting more health-conscious, we've been ordering from Kenny Rogers Roasters. A favorite is the Hi-Fiber meal, which includes 1/4 roast chicken, corn on the cob, fruit and veggie salad and Lite iced tea.

First time we ordered it -- ang sarap n'ya (two thumbs up!) Second time we ordered it -- ba't ang liit ng manok? (what they gave us pala was deboned na). Third time we ordered it -- okay, lumaki na uli yung manok, pero ang tabang! (kasi isa siyang malaking petso.)

Note to self: next time we order, we should specify which part we want and if we prefer the chicken deboned or not... and... don't forget the muffins!
